Raised in a devout Catholic home on Bollenbacher Street in San Diego, California, Jessica D. Reddick came of age during a precarious time in history. Nuclear bomb drills at school, the public assassination of a beloved president, and the promise of the civil rights movement formed the collective backdrop against which she developed her friendships, spirituality, and sense of meaning and purpose.

In addition to being a devoted spiritual seeker, mother of two wonderful children, and G-ma to two beautiful grandchildren, Jessica has developed two creative passions that she pursues full-time in her retirement.

A gifted self-taught musical composer, Jessica weaves together harmonies that transcend genres. Jazz, blues, dance, hiphop, and the enchanting melodies of the exotic middle east are effortlessly alchemized into masterpieces that resonate with the souls of her listeners.

Bollenbacher Street Mysteries was born of Jessica’s inspiration to share some of the most precious and challenging moments of her youth while imparting hard-earned lessons in faith and friendship. She believes that by embracing diverse perspectives, we can transcend the limitations of our own upbringing, forgive, and appreciate the rich tapestry of humanity and belief that exists around the world, recognizing the inherent value in each individual’s quest.
